Our Services
We are constantly growing, expanding and modifying our available services to reflect the needs of our community and the families we serve. Check out our program offerings listed below and contact us if there is a program you don't see here yet - it may be just around the corner!
Social Skills Groups
We offer a variety of social groups for students from Pre-K age through Young Adult. Groups meet once weekly for ten weeks per season for 60 or 90 minutes depending on the class. Students have time for open-ended play, a social skills lesson and a weekly activity or project based on the class theme. Class themes vary per cycle but may include options like STEM, Video Games, Crafts, Cooking or Sports.
Group and Individual Occupational Therapy
Our ever-growing team of Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants work each cycle to create and offer various group OT classes including Picky Eaters: Food Explorers, Fine Motor/Handwriting, Sensory Exploration and Emotional Regulation Groups. Our OT's are also available to complete Occupational Therapy evaluations or individual OT sessions. We do not accept insurance at this time.
Group and Individual Speech
Our Speech-Language Pathologists are available to complete Speech-Language evaluations or individual Speech sessions. Sessions are available after school as well as during daytime hours for homeschooled students, preschool students and early intervention. We do not accept insurance at this time.
Academic Assessment and Interventions
Our Special Education Teachers and Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultants (LDTCs) are able to conduct a wide array of assessments to establish baseline academic performance in areas of reading, writing, spelling, phonics, math and more. From there, students can be referred to an appropriate group remediation course, set up for individual tutoring or a report can be written to provide to outside tutors or homeschooling instructors.
Respite Evening Events
One night a month, students ages 4-18 with and without disabilities - and their siblings are invited to a Kids Only party from 5:30-8:00pm. Students enjoy dinner, snacks, games, activities and special surprises - while their grown ups can enjoy a date night, spa night or just a few hours to themselves! Registration is available under the "Events" tab.
Family Support
We host a parent support group as well as a sibling support group at no cost to our families. Parent support group is one Tuesday night per month from 6-7:30. Free childcare is available with registration. Sibling Support Group occurs weekly and is available under the "BOOK ONLINE" tab and is free with code SIBLING.
Mental Health Support Programs
Every season, we work with our mental health staff to design programs to support our community including Special Needs Sibling Support, Anxiety support, confidence groups, and more. We believe mental health matters and we are committed to supporting our students and families in gaining resiliency and building a support network in the process.
Executive Functioning Coaching
Students with ADHD and Autism often have challenges in beginning, continuing and completing tasks - often called "executive functioning skills". At Hope for All Learners, we offer individual and family coaching for learners of all ages - as well as executive functioning classes each cycle. Executive Functioning classes work on developing skills such as maintaining attention, working memory, task initiation and impulse control in a safe, supportive environment of their peers.
Gross Motor Programs
Each cycle, we offer classes that allow our learners to move their bodies in a safe, inclusive setting. In the spring and fall, this includes our Inclusive Skateboarding Program. We also offer gross motor groups throughout the year and are looking forward to the completion of our sensory gym in early 2023 for our learners to utilize before, during and after their classes here.
Inclusive Music Classes and Private Lessons
Our music teachers work hard to create inclusive music programs for learners of all ages and abilities. Our classes allow students to explore different musical instruments, sounds and concepts while playing games, singing songs and moving our bodies in whatever way our students are capable of!
Inclusive Art Classes
Our inclusive art programs allow students of all ages and abilities to experience different art mediums, methods and concepts. Projects are designed with a "low floor, high ceiling" approach so that all students can participate in the activity provided, while more experienced or passionate artists can extend their artistic abilities beyond the main project scope.
Life Skills Programs
We believe passionately in setting all of our students up for success in our space...but especially when they leave our space. Our life skills programs target a variety of skills that will help our students in the "real world". From teen job skills classes to basic life skills classes and beyond, we are always looking for new ways to ensure our learners are prepared for whatever life has in store for them next!
